New mountain bike trails are coming!

Plans for senior housing, a multi-concept hospitality business, mountain bike trails and more continue to emerge as developers shape the future of the former ACT campus.

Due to the current rain and the forecast for more tomorrow, we'll need to cancel practice this Thursday. If you get a break between thunderstorms and can sneak out for a ride, please do! Streets and sidewalks aren't quite as fun as the trails, but a short spin can help keep your legs fresh before this weekend's races. While we're disappointed not to ride together this week, we're looking forward to seeing everyone at the races on Saturday. If the current course is too wet, there is an alternative race location available. So, barring severe weather, we will be able to race rain or shine. Please be on the lookout for potential race updates as the weekend approaches.

Wednesday and Thursday have been issued as First Alert Days due to rounds of strong to severe storms moving through the region.

Our end-of-season party will be July 9. More details will be coming soon.

The last three practices of the season will move around a bit. June 11th will be at Sugar Bottom. June 18th and 25th will be at Creekside. We look forward to continuing to have fun and work on skills.

Congrats to everyone who raced in the heat today at the Wanatee race. Super impressive! Thanks to the parents for bringing and supporting the racers. And huge thanks to Iowa Scholastic Mountain Bike League, Patrick Shannon, and all the other volunteers who made the event possible.
