Mechanical tension matters, but so does how close you’re getting to failure.

If you finish a set of 10, rack the weight, and realistically could’ve done another 8 reps… congratulations, you just completed the warm-up. 😂

You don’t have to take every set to absolute failure, but your working sets should generally get close enough that the last few reps require real effort.

Control the weight. Use a good range of motion. Get close to failure. Progress over time.

Your muscles need a reason to adapt. Give them one. 💪
