In 2025, 119 children drowned in Florida. Nearly 80% were under age 3. Most child drownings are preventable through swim lessons. Not all swim programs teach survival skills. Choose a program that prepares your child to float, self-rescue,and reach safety independently.

A toddler at lesson 12 swimming towards mommy and rolling over to float when he needs to. Please watch until the end of the reel. Most swim lesson videos do not show the real process before the results. Crying baby is a breathing baby. The best way to overcome fear is to learn. Please choose your swim lesson plan accordingly. Survival swim lesson package includes 16 lessons meets 3 or 4 times a week for 15 minutes per lesson.

Floating is an essential life saving skill. Even infants can learn how to float. Start them young. Just like learning a language, water works the same way the younger they are, the easier it is.

There’s no magic wand to predict exactly how many lessons it will take for a child to confidently breathe and swim. However, with expert instruction, consistent practice, and the right progression, that milestone often comes sooner rather than later.
