If everyone is watching the pool, no one is watching the pool. 👀💧
One of the most important layers of protection is assigning a designated Water Watcher.
Choose one responsible adult whose only job is to actively watch the children in and around the water. That means no scrolling, no reading and no conversations that pull their attention away.
When it’s time to switch, clearly tell the next adult that they are now responsible. Never assume someone else is watching.
Active supervision saves lives—and every second of attention matters.
Save and share this reminder with every parent, caregiver and pool owner. Together, we can work toward Florida becoming a zero-drowning state.
