The Hills of Cove Golf Course will remain closed today to allow the grounds further time to dry. While we’re doing our best to get things back in playing shape, the course is still a bit too saturated for regular play.

However, the Junior High District Tournament is still a go for 3:00 PM! We ask that everyone (especially our mud-dodging spectators) please be patient as we give the grass a chance to breathe. ⛳️☔️

Hills of Cove Golfers,

As you may have noticed, we have recently had four temporary greens in place on the course. Over the past two days, we have begun installing paspalum on those greens as part of a larger initiative, with plans to transition the remaining greens next spring.

We sincerely appreciate the continued support and patience shown to The Hills of Cove staff as we work through this seasonal transition. Our team is committed to improving course conditions, and we are optimistic that these new greens will be established and ready for play in the coming weeks.

Additionally, our driving range has been closed over the past few weeks to allow for the installation of new netting and poles. We are pleased to announce that the driving range will officially reopen on April 10, 2026.

Thank you again for your support; we look forward to seeing the positive results of these improvements.
Lastly, thank you to the volunteers who helped make these last two days possible.

Dear Golfers,
As you may have noticed, current course conditions are not at the level we strive to provide. We want to assure you that the conditions you see today will not reflect where we will be in the coming weeks. Over the next five weeks, you will begin to see steady improvement as we continue our maintenance and recovery efforts.
Our greens are currently transitioning out of winter conditions, with the presence of Poa annua. Our team is actively managing this and working diligently to promote healthier turf. With a dedicated crew of four, we are doing everything possible to push the greens toward optimal playing conditions.
Looking ahead, we are committed to significant improvements. We have plans to fully replace all greens next spring, and we are optimistic about upgrading the entire irrigation system this winter. As part of this transition, we will begin converting select greens—holes 8, 11, 14, and 16—to Paspalum in the coming weeks. During this process, these holes will feature temporary greens as we complete the transition.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these improvements. Our goal is to deliver a better overall experience, and we are fully committed to achieving that.
