From white belt to blue belt.
This journey has been about so much more than Jiu Jitsu. We’ve had the privilege of watching how much Jiu Jitsu has impacted his life, both on and off the mats. A truly special person with a big heart, and someone we’re incredibly proud to have as part of our Sixth Sense family. This belt represents growth, resilience, discipline, and so many hours on the mats.

Kids will have hard days.

Days when they don’t feel like going.
Days when training feels difficult.
Days when they lose, struggle, or feel like giving up.

And that’s exactly where something bigger than jiu jitsu begins.

If we let them quit every time something gets hard, how will they learn that they can do hard things?

Jiu jitsu isn’t just about learning how to fight. It’s about learning discipline, resilience, commitment, and how to keep showing up, even when it’s not easy.

Of course, every child and situation is different. But sometimes, the answer isn’t to let them quit. Sometimes, it’s to encourage them to keep going. Confidence doesn’t come from avoiding hard things. It comes from overcoming them.

Let’s raise kids who know that being challenged doesn’t mean it’s time to give up.

This month we had the honor of hosting Coach Lucas Lima for a special seminar at our school.

An incredible coach, extremely professional, and truly dedicated to the art. His attention to detail, teaching style, and passion for jiu jitsu made a huge impact on everyone on the mats. Our students absolutely loved the experience, and so did we.
