Lehigh Valley Viking Age Combat

Congrats to Alexander for winning our mini tournament today! We are practicing for our upcoming tournament in December to claim the honor of being called the greatest viking age warrior! If you aren't willing to fight, you can't claim to be the best!

Recently we did our very first Shield Maiden Women's Empowerment Experience with The 9 Collective.

There is certainly a sense of pride that comes from an event like this. The amount of bravery, strength, and discipline that these ladies brought over these few hours is unforgettable.

Many memorable moments! They knocked Bob right off his feet! Our instructor Kit almost got run over by an 11 person boar's snout formation.

By the end, 11 ladies became a solid powerful unit.

Always remember to Keep Calm and SLAY ⚔️

A few photos from yesterday of our Huskarl Class and Intro Classes!

Our Huskarl class focused on attack and defense skills with the viking age sword! Honing our sword techniques means that we can function if our shield is unavailable or damaged.

Our Intro classes were learning more about 2-handed spear techniques. Now that we have 3 Bob's, we have a Bob wall to better understand how to defend against attacks from spearmen. They also learned some hand to hand skills with spear vs axe and shield.

Weve been busy training and doing several events lately! Yesterday we were at Sorcery and $cripts in Bethlehem. A really cool high fantasy inspired book store with table top gaming and more. Kit danced and played with weapons and we spread the good word about our style of experiencing viking age combat as authentically as we can!

Come check us out at our next event!

We had an awesome time at Lancaster Pagan Pride with The 9 Collective!

Special shout out to Amber Rose for joining us for her beautiful art with fire. It was a perfect addition to our performance with Kitarina Ceasg.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help us with the event and all those who traveled far to see us! ⚔️
