The New York Arm Wrestling Association is a unique property and produces an exciting grassroots sporting event that captures the imagination of everyday folks of all ages, ethnicity, and income levels; it has drawn competition locally from the New York area and from 6 continents and 300 major cities in the USA. The NYAWA would provide a business-friendly promotional platform with measurable results, plus all the benefits of brand awareness, media exposure, large captive target audiences, and millions of effective advertising impressions. We are proud to say that the New York Arm Wrestling Association has a 43-year record of accomplishment of performance credibility, continuous successful promotions, ambitious public relations campaigns, high media valuations and is the number one media-covered arm-wrestling organization in the world. The NYAWA piggybacks most NY arm wrestling events at popular well-known venues and tourist attractions in NYC. To give you an idea, past events were held at the Javits Center in the NY Sports Experience Show, NY International Auto Show and Bar Shows plus, The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, Nassau Coliseum, Madison Square Garden, Empire State Building Sky Lobby, World Trade Center Observatory before 9/11 and numerous festivals and fairs, city beaches, amusement parks, and baseball stadiums. The NYAWA also produces events each year on Long Island and in cooperation with the City of NY Parks & Recreation and NYC Borough presidents Offices in each of the five Boroughs. The NYAWA organizes the multi-event New York Golden Arm Series where events are held in each of the five NYC Boroughs, Long Island and Upstate, New York and culminates into the Empire State "Golden Arm" Tournament of Champions at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC. Preliminary Golden Arm Championship Events are held at various festivals, fairs, beaches, amusement parks, race tracks, baseball stadiums, and other tourist attractions while capturing a lot of media attention and public support. Some of the 2010 sponsors included Supercuts and Clear Mobil 4G Internet. The New York 'Golden Arm' Series has attained an enviable niche in the New York area sports world. The Series has won over the media and legions of fans and is favored by several unique attributes. There is nothing comparable to this New York Golden Arm Series anywhere in the world because both participants and fans travel to watch or compete in New York 'Golden Arm' Series tournaments which are held in each of the five NYC Boroughs and Long Island. The reputation, attitude, expertise, and image of the NYAWA have been shaped and thus in sync with the New York sports world and media that follows it. The New York 'Golden Arm' Series represents a "rainbow coalition" unto itself, with people of many races and ethnic backgrounds have become great enthusiasts and thereby word-of-mouth promoters of the sport, each within of their local communities. The NYAWA produces the NYC Big Apple Grapple International AND Crowns the ‘KING AND QUEEN OF ARMS®’, (Tim Bresnan and Joyce Boone hold these 2014 prestigious titles. This is the NYAWA’s premier arm wrestling event and considered the marathon of arm wrestling in NYC and draws extensive media coverage and competition from around the world. The NYC Big Apple Grapple receives millions of media impressions and most recently the NYC Big Apple Grapple and NYAWA has received feature stories from The New York Times, NY Daily News, NY Post, Newsday, Timeout NY, SportsNet NY (SNY-TV), Fox News Channel, Fox and Friends, NBC Saturday Morning, Fox 5 News, WPIX TV, ABC Sports, The Yes Channel, The Late Show with David Letterman, CBS TV News, and other media outlets that are too numerous to mention.
