That’s a wrap for duck season 2024! From the slow single bird days to the beatdowns with the boys, it went by way too fast! This season was one to remember from putting new hunters in the blind, to warm weather, to freezing up, hunting several new places it was one to remember! Ducks weren’t flying today, so I called it early and tried some west TN dogs this afternoon! They answered the MFK group howls about 500-600 yards away, so I gave them a few minutes to see if they were on the move or not. When nothing showed I grabbed the call and moved in tight to them. 5 minutes later big ole male dog down

Walked into the field at sunrise and one was laying in the field we gave him a chance and let him leave. Few pup howls had the first one down, went into some group howls and then submissive beggar for the 2nd dog down, sat there silent discussing on how to push back further and the 3rd dog came out looking for his buddies!
