Attention Coopersville Middle School Parents! 📣⚽

Can you believe we are already almost halfway through the summer? The fall season will be here before we know it, and we want to make sure everyone is ready to hit the field on day one!

To ensure our incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are fully cleared to play, please take care of these two important steps ASAP:

1️⃣ Register on FinalForms: If you haven't already, please get your athlete signed up and all parent/student forms signed here: https://coopersville-mi.finalforms.com/

2️⃣ Schedule a Sports Physical: Every player MUST have an up-to-date physical on file before the season officially starts. Doctor's offices and urgent cares book up quickly this time of year, so please don't wait until the last minute to get this scheduled!

Let's get all the paperwork out of the way now so we can focus on a great season ahead. Please share this with any other incoming middle school parents who might need the reminder.

Our Coopersville JV and Varsity Boys Soccer teams got some valuable minutes in during Friday's scrimmage against Comstock Park Athletics. We saw some great combination play and flashes of the new system we're working to incorporate, which was encouraging to see this early in the summer.

A huge thank you to Comstock Park Athletics for coming out to our place on such short notice. We truly appreciate the opportunity to compete and continue building relationships within the soccer community.

As with any preseason match, we also identified areas where we can improve. Fitness will continue to be a major focus throughout the summer as we prepare for the fall season, and we know we need to be more clinical in front of goal. With the graduation and departure of one of our most important goal scorers to play at Cornerstone University, there is an opportunity for someone to step up and fill that role.

The work continues, and we're excited about the potential this group has. Go Broncos! ⚽🐎
