What a run for the boys in blue! We came out swinging yesterday and topped the Blue Demons from Illinois 16-4. We then played a very good Rebels team from the Bay Area, the 7 seed, and battled them (and I do mean battled) through six and into extra innings. We came up just short, 6-5, after 8 but we could not have been more proud of our boys. This was definitely a week of dreams!

And the survey says: 26 seed out of 104! So we're back at it at 4:00 tomorrow. Field 5, the place to be!

We know one thing after pool play: these boys can hit! A nine home run explosion to put South Carolina and the Elite 9 in our book 29-13. So we end pool play 5-1 and now wait for our seeding. Blue Sox, he-yaw!

Boom! And just like that the Sox get their 4th win. 14-0 against the NY Braves. On to last pool play tonight at 6:30.

We don't make it easy but we get it done! Blue Sox came out on top of a crazy 16-13 win over the previously undefeated New Jersey Sand Sharks. On to tomorrow (well, actually, today) with a 10:30 am first pitch.

Forget this small ball stuff! 5 kids, 6 hone runs! Blue Sox 14, Warriors from Minnesota 0. Oh yea, and O'harran/Phillips throw a combined perfect game. On to the next game at 9:30.
