“The Nobility of Being Thankful” reveals a timeless truth that has accompanied humanity through the ages: gratitude lifts the spirit and ennobles the character. To be thankful is more than saying thank you — it is to recognize, with humility and respect, that each step forward has been made possible through divine guidance, personal effort, and the generous support of those around us.

Nobility arises when the heart learns to cherish both the simple and the profound — the family that sustains us, the friends who walk beside us, the community that strengthens us, and the opportunities that open new paths. Within gratitude we find clarity, balance, and a deep sense of purpose.

He who is thankful honors the past, beautifies the present, and prepares a future full of blessings. For gratitude does not only receive — it transforms, it illuminates, and it guides. And so, by recognizing the hands that have helped us and the gifts we have received, we walk forward with dignity, with peace, and with the noble grace that flows from a truly grateful heart.

Taegeuk Il Jang

El Taegeuk representa la fuente primordial de todo lo existente en el universo y la ley universal mediante la cual todo transcurre en ciclos continuos de creación y destrucción.

El Poomsae simboliza el principio esencial de esta filosofía universal, construido sobre la verdad inherente en los principios del Yin y el Yang contenidos en el Taegeuk.

Taegeuk Il Jang encarna el Gun de los ocho trigramas, símbolo del cielo, que representa el nacimiento, los comienzos y la raíz de toda existencia.

Este Poomsae es el primero que se aprende al iniciar el camino del Taekwondo. Está diseñado para requerir una fuerza moderada, de modo que incluso los principiantes puedan ejecutarlo con soltura y dominar sus movimientos con relativa facilidad.

Además, el Taegeuk Il Jang enseña los métodos correctos para completar las técnicas y realizar los cambios de dirección, ya sea avanzando o girando a lo largo de la línea de progresión del Poomsae.
