⭐️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT⭐️
Our very last senior for the 2026 season is our beloved former president, Olivia Rigney (Liv). Liv is from Cincinnati Ohio and graduated with a degree in journalism. She is moving to Perrysburgh Ohio to start her job as an account manager for Ramm Fence and Stalls. Liv’s favorite team memory is doing our matching hair tinsel in the hotel rooms the night before a show. Her favorite Stonegate horse (besides Wren) is Grant! Her message to the team is “We’re so lucky to do what we do because of our horses, put them at the heart of everything you do!”

Liv, we are so beyond proud of you and so grateful for everything you did for this team. OUET will not be the same without you and your special boy Wren. We all wish you the best 💚🐾

Today’s spotlight is our favorite Maddie G! Maddie is a marketing major from Oak Park, Illinois. After graduating she plans to work in sales for Donnellon McCarthy Enterprises in Columbus. Her favorite team memory is the post-team dinner sweet treat trips and all the conversations in the vans. Her favorite Stonegate horse is obviously Balou!! Her message to the riders is “enjoy every second with this team and remember to have fun in the ring. Always be there for your teammates and pat your ponies!”

Today OUET would like to put the spotlight on Vanessa! Vanessa is an Environmental Science and sustainability major from Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating she plans to work in conservation! Her favorite OUET memory is the team dinners and doing hair tinsel the night before the shows! Her favorite Stonegate horse is Olivia❤️. Today is Leah Heasley also known as OUETs Vice President! Leah is from Chargrin Ohio and is graduating with a degree in middle childhood education: mathematics and science. After graduation Leah plans to be a middle school teacher in NEO. Her favorite OUET memory is getting to chant “OU OH YEAH” at the shows. Her favorite horse is Apollo! Her message to the team is “OUET helped me find my place on campus. This group will become your second family”

Today OUET would like to honor Bella Shapera! Bella is a Psychology major from Cleveland, Ohio! After graduation she plans to attend grad school for occupational therapy. Her favorite OUET memory is the junior year bonfire. Her favorite Stonegate horse is Eevee. Bella’s message to the OUET riders is “Push yourself and your team, try new things,always have fun, and don’t break your back!!”

Bella will be greatly missed among the team. We are so proud of her and what she is to become. Her bright smile will always be remembered. Congrats Bella!! 💚🐾

Our first senior is our beloved Ella Amiet! Ella is from Granville, Ohio and is graduating with a degree in psychology. She plans to continue her schooling after graduation! Her favorite OUET memory is all of the team dinners (especially the rusty bucket brussel sprouts). Her favorite horse is Duke. Ella’s message to younger OUET riders is to always believe in yourself and your team and to always have fun!
