This post deserves one all by itself.
Moments like this are exactly what Power Half is all about.
A little backstory: Amir was down by one point in the finals match. When his coaches told him to cut his opponent and go score, he trusted them, stayed composed, and with only seconds remaining, secured the takedown to win first place.
But what happened next may have been even more special.
His teammates could have simply applauded and gone back to their own matches. Instead, without anyone asking them to, they erupted with excitement. They cheered so loudly the entire venue heard them and celebrated with Amir like he had just won an Olympic gold medal.
Seeing the reaction from his teammates and parents was a reminder of what we're really building here. Yes, we love seeing our athletes succeed on the mat, but it's about so much more than wins and losses.
It's about believing in each other. It's about being part of something bigger than yourself. It's about friendships, memories, confidence, and the relationships that will last long after the final whistle.
Watching these kids genuinely celebrate one another's success makes us incredibly proud and reminds us why we do what we do every single day.
This is Power Half.
