Big congratulations to Karli Jones-Dupire on earning her NAUI Jr. Open Water Diver certification!

At just 14 years old, Karli showed up ready to learn and absolutely knocked it out of the park. Her focus, positive attitude, and natural ability in the water made this one of those classes that reminds us why we love teaching scuba.

She made life pretty easy for Instructor Jansen Reese and Divemasters Brad and Ashley Kastl, and that’s not something we say every day!

We’re excited to watch where diving takes her next. With her determination and love for adventure, we have no doubt this is just the beginning of a lifetime of amazing experiences underwater.

Welcome to the dive family, Karli. We can’t wait to see where your next bubbles take you!

We’ve heard a lot of people ask about Poseidon regulators over the years, and now you’ve got a chance to see what they’re all about for yourself.

On August 1st, we’ll be hosting a Poseidon Demo Day at Nautical Adventures. We’ll have the Jetstream, Cyklon, and Xstream regulators available for divers to try in the water and compare side by side.

Everybody has their favorite regulator, and that’s exactly why we like doing events like this. The best way to know what works for you is to get wet and dive it yourself.

While a lot of folks were enjoying the weekend topside, Instructors Tim Knight, Richard Reagan, Kevin Felts, and Divemaster Nick Redding were underwater putting in the work.

The crew spent the weekend diving CCR rebreathers, sharpening their skills on both the KISS Spirit and the Dive Talk GO. At Nautical Adventures, we believe being a good instructor means more than teaching classes. It means staying active, continuing to learn, and regularly practicing the skills we expect our students to master.

The best way to stay sharp is simple: dive, train, repeat.

Whether it’s open circuit, sidemount, CCR, or public safety diving, the Nauti Crew is committed to staying at the top of our game so we can provide the best training possible for our divers.

A good diver never stops learning, and neither do we.

Big congratulations to Eric Bohanon and Jesten Simmons on earning their NAUI Open Water Diver certifications!

Over the past few days, they put in the work, learned new skills, faced new challenges, and proved they have what it takes to become safe and confident divers. From the classroom to the pool and finally out in open water, they stayed focused and kept pushing forward.

A big shoutout to Instructor Ryan Williams for leading the class and to Divemaster Brad Kastl for helping guide them along the way.

LAKE TENKILLER DIVE REPORT

The Nauti Crew got some diving in and conditions are looking pretty solid.

Surface temperatures are up to a comfortable 80°F, while deeper divers will find 61°F at 90 feet.

The best visibility right now is hanging between 40 and 60 feet, where divers are reporting 15–20 feet of visibility. Above that, conditions vary depending on location and boat traffic, but there’s definitely some cleaner water waiting below.

If you're looking for the sweet spot this weekend, drop down a little deeper and enjoy the cooler temps and clearer water.
