Welcome to Alpha Jiu-Jitsu Academy, Cookeville's premier Jiu-Jitsu academy. Our academy follows the self-defense techniques and philosophies of Helio Gracie. Students at our school learn how to defend themselves against a variety of real-world attacks, both standing and on the ground. Alpha Jiu-Jitsu Academy was established in 2004 by instructor Alan Whited. Classes are held three times a week and

are suitable for anyone from complete beginners to advanced martial arts practitioners. Alan Whited is a second-degree Black-belt and has been studying Gracie Jiu-Jitsu since 1997.
