Thank you to Ranger Blayne from Burges Falls State Park for bringing in Uni the corn snake and teaching us all about snakes. We had some brave kids who loved getting the opportunity to touch her.

Some key things we learned:
*Their are 32 different species of snakes
*Only 4 are venomous
*They have an extra sense for warmth under their nose
*Never touch a snake if you don’t know them.
*they stick their tongues out to taste the air for food.
*They are cold blooded and hide under things to stay warm.
