Four year ago today, I started a path of becoming a personal trainer. I say becoming because although acquiring the credentials to be a personal trainer is a short certification away, you should never stop learning, growing and becoming a better trainer and individual. I’ve been fortunate to train under some, who I consider the best at their craft in areas of body building, sports performance, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and cardiac/pulmonary rehab. These individuals are people who excel in coaching and working with people who almost make coaching/training look effortless while achieving the desired results. In my opinion, being “self mad is a toxic myth. You are a product of those who you consistently surround yourself with and I would never be where I am now without a tremendous amount of help, influence, and friendship from some of those I consider the greats. I’m thankful for my family, my wife, my friends, the individuals I’ve been fortunate to work with and train, but most importantly, God for turning training into something so much more than I could see at the time. Four years has gone by so fast and I’m excited to see what the next four brings. I have a feeling that the surface has only been scraped.💪🏽
