Pitch landing has a medium size gravel parking area and is managed by South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. It has 2 hard surfaced launching lanes with a dock to tie up to.

The landing is about 97 miles from the dam according to the Waccamaw River Blue Trail and is on the west side of the river.
