Cox Ferry Lake landing is on the east side of the Waccamaw River and has a nice soft dirt launch area with a dock to tie up to. It has a large parking area, but it is good distance from the landing. It is suggested that wheels used to take the kayak to the launch area.

The landing is about 97 miles from the dam according to the Waccamaw River Blue Trail.
