Cox Ferry Lake landing is on the east side of the Waccamaw River and has a nice soft dirt launch area with a dock to tie up to. It has a large parking area, but it is good distance from the landing. It is suggested that wheels used to take the kayak to the launch area.

This trail actually starts a Billy Witherspoon Landing, then looped back when it was in front of the Cox Ferry Lake Landing and ended at the Conway Riverwalk to have lunch at the restaurant there.

You can still use this trail to track your paddle. I wanted to give you an idea of the distance far Conway is from Cox Ferry Lake Landing.

This trail is a casual kayak trail that goes north of Cox Ferry Lake Landing. It is a 5 mile trip, which took 2 hours to complete. It passes Pitch Landing, which is on the west side of the river. If you would like to have the opportunity to see an alligator, the waypoint on the maps shows where an alligator has been seen multiple times.

An additional trail that explored above the Cox Ferry Lake Landing was added at the end of the images.

This trail actually starts at Reaves Ferry to Bucksport Marina. This can still be used to track your paddle using the trail, if you are only going to Peachtree. I wanted to give you an idea of how far Peachtree Landing was from Cox Ferry Lake Landing.
