We are so excited to welcome you to the 45th Annual ARK 5K Classic. Here are few reminders and announcements to make your race day more enjoyable.
1. Have fun & be proud of yourself! Race is at Crystal Hill Elementary 5001 Northshore Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72118.
2. Check your bag and make sure the bib and chip match and are correct and check again! With this many participants, mistakes will be made. So please be understanding.
3. Arrive at the race early, allot time for parking and packet pickup by 7:00am.
4. It’s going to be hot; we will have aid stations set up at approximately 1.5 and 2.5 miles.
5. Start hydrating yourself today!!
6. Race Day packet pickup is only from 5:45am to 7:00am. We will have hard stop due to the race being away from the finish line/registration area and many of the volunteers are also racing. Again, allow for time to pick up your packet. We have a lot of packets to be handed out, so please have patience. A change to packet pick-up this year is that the chip will be given out separately from the bib. Please make sure you have that chip when you walk away and it matches your bib.
7. Race Day registration is from 6:00am to 7:00am. We accept cash, check and Venmo. Registration is $35 ($20 for runners/walkers under 16 under.) Checks made out to ARK. Again, we will have a hard stop at 7:00am to allow people to get to the starting line.
8. Parking will be tight, park along the Northshore Shore Drive businesses if the school’s lot is full and it will be full.
9. The deadline to register for a shirt was August 21, 2026, and then we extended what we had through the following week. We are out of participant’s shirts There are two options for shirts if you did not sign up by that date. 1. Grab a shirt from previous races while they last. 2. Wait until the you have crossed the finish line to grab one of the “No Shows.” This also goes for exchanges. We will try our best to accommodate everyone.
10. Please be at the starting line at 7:20am, we will begin prerace ceremonies shortly around that time.
11. This race is chipped timed. That means everyone will have a chip on their shoes. You must return that chip after you cross the finish line. We will have people sitting at the finish line to cut the chip off. Any chip not returned that day will be charged a $25 replacement fee.
12. Stay around for the awards and door prizes. If for some reason you must leave before we get to your age group award, please find Ryan Miller and he will find your award.
13. We have worked really hard on this race to make it the best, we hope you enjoy it.

National Anthem will be sung at 7:25am sung by Rev. “Run” Jim Munns
Wheelchair Division will start at 7:28am
Standard Race will start at 7:30am
Awards Ceremony to begin close to 8:30am
