Our athletes are hard at work this week practicing their arm action and thigh drive techniques!

Proper arm action contributes to speed and the generation of forward movement by driving in sync with the legs, as well as aiding in controlling deceleration.

A strong thigh drive is crucial for increasing sprint speed because it contributes significantly to the force output and propulsion generated during each stride. It also enables an athlete to extend their stride length, increasing distance covered and lowering sprint times.
