Awesome job Oak Hill Wrestling Club this season! The kids did awesome, they wrestled hard during a long season! I want to thank the coaches, without you they wouldn't be where they are. The coaches: Craig Rosman, Jacob Rosman, Lance McParlan, Mike Nester, these guys are awesome and support kids! Imagine a small club making a big impact, these guys are the reason. Thank you from the bottom our hearts! Yesterday and today was the closing of another chapter/season of wrestling. Wait until next year, these kids will beast! We are wrestling the Iron Eagle this weekend, Freestyle (FR), Greco (GR), and Folkstyle (FK). To register go to usabracketing.com. When you go to register, it is a little weird but you pick your kids profile, then make sure club is chosen, then what division (remember this), fill out the rest and add to cart. Once you are at the cart, click add another entry (the button to the left) and tap on your kids name when you go back. Click on division again and select the next type of wrestling (should be marked like above). Each time you do this click add to cart and price comes down. If you kid wrestles all three it is 15 bucks a piece, if one type 45 and so on. Weigh-ins on Saturday for all weekend are 7-8, but wrestling doesn't start until around 10. We will warm up around 845. If you are only wrestling folkstyle you will need to weigh-in on Sunday 7-730 AM. We will warmup at 8 AM Sunday. Registration closes tomorrow, Friday, at 5PM.

First off, thank you to the people that donated for our club kids to have custom hoodies and shorts for state this year! The front of the hoodies had Oak Hill Wrestling Folkstyle State 2026 and the back had their last names with the following bible verse: "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us" Romans 8:18 (NIV). Their shorts had their last name with wrestling info. Thank you so much Kevin, Walmart, Jonelle, Brody and Joshua for your donations and support! We are so thankful for our community and wrestling program. The kids are the most important people that were down there at state wrestling, but our coaches (some didn't even have a kid wrestling on Saturday or Sunday but was there), huge thank you so much Craig R., Jacob R., Lance M., Mike N, and Bradly R.! The kids wrestled the best they have all year, which is what we want! The coaches almost had a heart attack during a match probably 20+ times. If you have anymore pics, please place in the comments. We had 22 kids wrestle, the club was 39th out of 200 clubs. We had 7 placers, 4 kids were 1 win away from placing and 22 kids that just rocked it! Great job to all our kids and coaches! Now on to Freestyle and Greco!

I know I said I would post tonight the results from this weekend, but that will come Wednesday. We are starting Freestyle and Greco, so do not watch high school or college matches! Watch Olympics or Pan Am Games. These two styles are what the world uses and is great to continue to learn this great sport. Schedule for freestyle/greco (please do not sign-up before the Wednesday before, we may not go to one). This week is a go!
This weekend: Iron Eagle, Saturday and Sunday (freestyle/greco Saturday and folkstyle Sunday).

Very long weekend, I will post about the weekend tomorrow. We are asking all state placers to come to club practice at the beginning, bring metals and wear your hoodies for photos. We also ask every kid who wrestled state wear your hoodies so we can get a photo as well. Thanks guys!
