Derrick and Bryan were back in the groove today! It was a back and forth battle between them the entire morning for most fish, biggest fish, and best technique..... until Bryan said, “watch this” and landed this “little” blue cat! The fishing bet was for the best overall day of fishing, and Bryan chose Popeyes chicken for his victory meal. They took home 42 catfish and 3 Hybrid striped bass to include Bryan's 28 pound blue cat.

A bit tougher fishing for us today. We spent about 2.5 hours on the first spot and did alright on cats and a couple bigger hybrid striped bass. The bite kind of died out, so we checked several more areas looking for active hybrids. They ended up with 30 catfish and 2 hybrid striped bass.
