We have some pretty great student-athletes to celebrate!

Two weeks ago, right in the middle of water polo playoff week, eight of our Conroe High Aquatics athletes took a break from the action in the pool to be recognized for their achievements in the classroom. On October 7, they were inducted into the National Honor Society!

We spend a lot of time cheering for what these athletes accomplish in the water, so it was especially meaningful to pause during such a busy week and celebrate their academic achievements, too.

Please help us congratulate our newest NHS members!

🕯️ Ella Langstaff
🕯️ Charly Lemmon
🎓 Kailynn Storm Marshall
🕯️ Kayleigh Raine Marshall
🕯️ Paulo Soriano
🎓 Kendall Swims
🕯️ Rik van den Berg
🕯️ Lucy Weaver

We also want to give a special shoutout to senior Jonathan Miller, who was already a member of the National Honor Society before joining our aquatics family. Although he wasn't part of this year's induction ceremony, his academic accomplishments deserve recognition, too!

Congratulations to our eight newest inductees and to Jonathan, our returning NHS member! We're proud to have all nine of you representing Conroe Aquatics, both in and out of the pool! 🤍🖤💛

📸 Special thanks to Natalya Chicas () for sharing these wonderful photos from the induction ceremony!

📣 PLATINUM SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT

A big thank-you to ROWMEC for once again supporting CHS Aquatics, this year as one of our 2026–27 Platinum Sponsors.

ROWMEC is based right here in Conroe, and we’re especially grateful when local businesses choose to invest in the students representing Conroe High School in Water Polo and Swim.

Their sponsorship helps with so many of the things that make a season better for our athletes beyond practices and competition — team meals, gear, team-building activities, and the extra experiences that help turn a group of athletes into a team.

ROWMEC specializes in mulching, tree-shredding, and land-clearing equipment, so they’re no strangers to taking on big jobs. We’re grateful they’ve chosen to put some of that strong support behind our Tigers, too.

Learn more about ROWMEC at www.rowmec.com or give them a call at 936-539-5488.

Thank you, ROWMEC, for continuing to show up for Conroe High School, Conroe ISD Aquatics and our student-athletes. 🐅

These girls gave us a season to remember! 🤽‍♀️🐅

They made history with a 14–0 shutout of The Woodlands, fought their way back for an 11–10 win over Oak Ridge to reach the District Championship, and went on to an 18–0 Bi-District victory over Nimitz, where every girl scored! That win earned them a trip to Area.

Their season came to an end last Thursday, but what a season it was! We’re so proud of the work these girls put in, the way they fought for each other, and all the moments that had us on our feet cheering. And judging by the photos, they had plenty of fun along the way!

To our seniors—Kailynn “Storm” Marshall, Carli Taylor, and Kendall Swims—thank you for everything you’ve given Conroe water polo. We’ve loved watching you play, and we’ll miss seeing the three of you in the pool together.

And to all the families, friends, students, and school staff who came out to cheer them on, thank you! Your support meant so much to this team and made these moments even more special.

So proud of our Tigers! 🤍🖤💛

These boys gave us a season to remember! 🤽‍♂️🐅

They made history with their first-ever win over The Woodlands, then turned around and beat them again at District. They advanced to Bi-District for the first time since 2022, where every boy scored in a 19–5 win over Davis that sent them on to Area.

Their season came to an end Thursday, but what a season it was! We’re so proud of the work these boys put in, the way they competed, and all those moments that had us on our feet cheering.

To our seniors—Drew Davis, Jack Hall, Johnathan Miller, and Nathaniel Vavra—thank you for everything you’ve given Conroe High School, Conroe ISD water polo. We’ve loved watching you play, and we’ll miss seeing you in the pool together.

And to all the families, friends, students, and school staff who came out to cheer them on, thank you! Your support meant so much to this team and made these moments even more special.

So proud of our Tigers! 🤍🖤💛

🤽‍♂️🐅 We’re closing out our Class of 2027 Senior Water Polo Players Series with #5 Johnathan Miller! 🐅🤽‍♂️

Johnathan joined Conroe Water Polo for his senior year after previously competing in football and wrestling — and in just one season, he found a way to make his mark on the program. 💦

Through 18 varsity games, Johnathan recorded 22 goals, 5 assists, 27 points and 9 steals while scoring on 50% of his shots. For someone spending his first and only high school season in the pool, he made that season count. 🤽‍♂️🥅

✨ His favorite memory came during Conroe’s first-ever boys water polo win over The Woodlands, when Johnathan scored four goals to help the Tigers make program history.

With water polo season complete, Johnathan will trade the pool for the wrestling mat and get back to work there.

🎓 After graduation, Johnathan plans to attend Oregon State University and study Marine Biology. After college, he hopes to serve in the military with the goal of becoming a Navy SEAL, and eventually pursue a career as a Game Warden.

One season. One varsity letter. 22 goals. And a pretty memorable way to spend senior year. 🐅🤍🖤💛

Help us celebrate Johnathan as we close out our Class of 2027 Senior Spotlight series! Share a favorite memory, leave him a kind word, or wish #5 well as he heads into his next chapter.

🤽‍♀️🐅 Meet the Class of 2027 Senior Water Polo Players Series 🐅🤽‍♀️

#17 Kendall Swims — Girls Team Captain

Kendall has been part of Conroe Water Polo throughout all four years of high school, earning a varsity letter each season and finishing her senior year as Girls Team Captain. 💦

Through the end of the district tournament, Kendall had played 90 varsity games and recorded 231 goals, 118 assists, 349 points and 241 steals for the Tigers. She also leaves Conroe as the program’s school record holder for most goals scored. 🤽‍♀️🥅

🏅 Kendall’s impact has been recognized on both ends of the pool. As a sophomore in 2024, she earned First Team All-District honors and was named District Defensive MVP. As a junior in 2025, she was again named First Team All-District — this time earning District Offensive MVP.

✨ One of Kendall’s favorite memories from her years with Conroe Water Polo is traveling to Dallas for the semifinals two years in a row — experiences and teammates she’ll carry with her well beyond her final season.

🎓 After graduation, Kendall plans to attend Texas A&M University, study Psychology and continue playing water polo at the club level.

Four years. Four varsity letters. Team captain. A school scoring record. And a legacy that made an impact on both sides of the pool. 🐅🤍🖤💛

With Kendall’s final high school water polo season now complete, help us celebrate #17 and everything she has given to Conroe Water Polo. Share a favorite memory, leave her a kind word, or wish her well as she heads into her next chapter!
