Hellene Clavadistas, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in October 2016. Coach Stefanos has an extensive background both as a Diving and Gymnastics coach over the past 15 years. Most recently he was awarded Regional Coach of the Meet for the 2016 UIL women’s diving and Coach of the Meet during the 2016 State of Texas UIL Women's championship meet in Austin. His awards and accolades over h

is long career as a diver include 6 time World, 3 time European and 4 time Pan American masters champion and numerous medals in international and world competitions. His love and passion for diving is evident in his coaching and mentoring of his divers. The Hellene Clavadistas started with eight divers and has grown to over twenty divers in five months with 7 qualifiers for the nationals competition! The Hellene clavadistas was in the top American teams in the 2018 AAU National Championships
and some of the divers working with coach Stefanos have achieved to be National champions and earn Scholarships in the country's colleges.

Hellene Clavadistas, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in August 2016 and is coached by Greek World Champion Diver Evangelos "Stefanos" Tzivopoulos. The team was founded to pursue a dream of having a world class diving team in San Antonio, TX. Coach Stefanos has an extensive background both as a Diving and Gymnastics coach over the past 15 years. Most recently he was awarded Regional Coach of the Meet for the 2016 UIL women’s diving and Coach of the Meet during the 2016 State of Texas UIL Women's championship meet in Austin. His awards and accolades over his long career as a diver include 6 time World, 3 time European and 4 time American championships and numerous medals in international and world competitions. His love and passion for diving is evident in his coaching and mentoring of his divers. The Hellene Clavadistas started with eight divers and has grown to over twenty divers. In the most recent AAU Nationals competition held in July 2018, team members won 18 medals including 6 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.
