Special Announcement!

2026 Conflict Resolution Bookmark Art Contest Entries are due on Monday, March 9th, by 5PM!!!

The contest is open to all students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade who live or attend school (or homeschool) in Montgomery County, Texas.

Original entries must be mailed in or received in-person at our office no later than Monday, March 9th by 5PM. You may also drop off bookmarks at any Montgomery County Library by that same deadline!

We can't wait to see the AMAZING artwork your students and children create!

The Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County's 2026 Conflict Resolution Bookmark Art Contest is live on our website (https://resolution-center.org/bookmark/).

This annual contest invites young artists to create bookmarks that promote peaceful conflict resolution and bullying prevention practices!

Julie Collins, Director of Program Services with the DRC-MC, joined forces with the EfTA’s Next Generation Leadership Program to train 39 incredible students on “Tough Conversations: Resolving Conflict as a Young Leader.”

These young leaders didn’t just learn how to handle conflict, they practiced turning challenges into opportunities for growth, collaboration, and stronger leadership through an engaging role play session.

Big shout out to the students for bringing energy, curiosity, and courage to the session. Our future looks bright when young leaders are ready to tackle tough conversations with confidence! 🕊️💙
