A nourishing meal and rest (as in sleep) are both critical components for recovery from intense workouts! If you are still feeling extremely fatigued more than 8 hours after a HARD workout, take a look at what you are eating and how well you are sleeping.

I like CarbMaster yogurt mixed with Kashi Go Lean cereal for a satisfying morning snack...150 calories and 15 grams of protein (very low sugar and fat)...plus it's yummy!

When people say "toned", they usually mean muscle definition. Here's a fact; you will not get "toned" by lifting light weights for a lot of repetitions. Pick up something heavy!

Low fat string cheese wrapped in several slices of deli turkey makes a great and tasty afternoon snack..about 110 calories!

Lean beef is a great source of protein; chicken, turkey and fish, however, all have less fat and calories for the same amount of protein. Eat purposefully today.
