1 year ago today I opened Redmon Health & Fitness! 🎉 🥳 It was the biggest risk of my life but something told me it was the right move. The hurdles and roadblocks that came up along the way made it look as if I might have been making a mistake, but my intuition said “keep moving”. So I did.

1 year later we’re training 85 amazing humans who have become not only a family with me, but have become a family to each other. Friendships have been formed, business relationships have been birthed, and we have a community of like minded people who are part of something that cannot be compared anywhere in Conroe.

On day 1 it was just me training, but the growth happened so quickly that I began needing help within a matter of weeks. 1 year later and we have 4 trainers! Every month is better than the one before, and we’re already talking about needing a bigger space. It won’t be long until we just can’t fit everyone into our current location, and turning people away will never be an option. We’re almost to that point.

The health of so many have RADICALLY changed in a short amount of time, and I’m going to share some of those stories over the coming days. But for today, I chose this couple as a testimony of what’s possible simply because they were my very first clients. Patrick and Kim Steed saw my temporary sign hanging from the building before I even opened the doors and their first session together was on March 31, 2025. 12 months later and they’re not the same people. Not only do they look different, they think differently. They act differently. They have a new mindset towards fitness. The visible changes don’t compare to the invisible changes that have happened within. They’re different people than they were 1 year ago.

So may people to celebrate, and so many lives being impacted, and we’re just getting started. 1 year down, and many more to go.

Ladies, the body you say you want is not found in the pilates class, on the elliptical, or in low weight/high rep “toning” workouts. It’s in lifting heavy, BUILDING muscle, and forcing your body to adapt to stress. Put down the pink weights and do the same workouts as the men. It’s the only path that will take you where you want to go.

One thing I thoroughly enjoy is watching women achieve things in the gym that they never even considered as being possible. The concept of “toning” workouts have haulted many women in their tracks when it comes to their fitness goals because “toning” workouts generally mean light weights, high reps, and never achieving a place of muscular failure. Any set that doesn’t take you to within 1-2 reps of failure is a warmup set. Nothing more. If you truly want to see change, you have to push your muscles to a point of failure, otherwise they won’t adapt. Just say no to “toning” workouts. Say YES to building muscle. When the muscle grows, the toning will come.

Mots-C What is it? What does it do?

Mots-C is a peptide that directly impacts the mitochondria, which we may all remember from high school science class as the “powerhouse of the cell”. Our mitochondria are like little batteries, and we have trillions of them. When those little batteries are functioning properly, our bodies run properly. But when they’re not, our bodies just don’t function well.

When I opened Redmon Health & Fitness in March, my vision was to be a 1 stop shop for all things health and fitness. Part of that vision fell into place last week with Peak Fitness Labs joining the team.

Peptide therapy is going to change the game in ways that we can’t imagine, and Peak Fitness Labs is going to allow us to be on the tip of the spear in the field of longevity, weight loss, recovery, and so much more.

Next up, a nurse practitioner to help with hormone therapy.

I don’t know who this guy is, but congratulations to him on being made an example of. 🤷‍♂️

If only he were right…. If only it was possible to target problem areas of fat. Unfortunately, it’s not, so this is complete 🐂 💩.

“Spot reduction” is a myth. Your body will metabolize fat where it wants to and you have ZERO control of that. You can do all the ab workouts in the world but you may lose fat in your legs. 😂 So as much as it might suck to hear this, you cannot “spot reduce”. Anyone that tells you that you can is either highly uneducated in the area of fitness, or has something to sell you(and that’s all this video is attempting to do).
