Hey, Guppies!
Firstly, I’d like to give a huge thank you to all of the parents that have enrolled their kiddos into Grace’s Guppies swim school this far. It has truly been a blessing to teach each and every one of the guppies swimming and water safety. We’ve had a lot of fun along the way, and I am sure that each of our swimmers are well equipped for future splashing.
This summer, we will not be able to continue Grace’s Guppies swim lessons. Each of our coaches will be taking big steps in new directions! I, coach Grace, will be continuing my career as an EMT, and graduating as a License Paramedic. Coach Madison will be continuing her career, and graduating as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Coach Zoe will be jumping into a new job of her own, and enjoying her summer endeavors, up until the start of her junior year in high school.
We are going to miss you all! A sunny day by the pool, making the guppies smile was beyond fulfilling. We’re looking forward to what comes next for each and every one of you. Have an awesome summer!

Attention, Guppies.
We hope all our swimmers and their families are safe after hurricane Beryl's impact. Due to power outages and pool care, we will be cancelling this week's lessons July 11th-12th.
If there are any conflicting schedules after this week due to hurricane damage, feel free to contact Grace's Guppies for cancellations. Thank you.

Hey Guppies! We’ve had a great start to the summer, and we have some exciting news to share!
Coach Zoe will be officially coaching on Thursdays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Booking for class reservations opens June 27, 2024. There are a few rules that apply when enrolling in coach Zoe’s lessons so please read this post carefully.
When booking a lesson for Thursdays in the Appointy program, it may state that your lesson will be with coach Grace. This is because coach Grace handles all customer service. All Thursday lessons will be with coach Zoe.
All new students must undergo a swim evaluation, which will only be held on Fridays with coach Grace. This is to ensure your child is placed in an appropriate swim level, and all your initial question and concerns may be answered. Once an evaluation is completed, students are welcome to swim on either days, or both!

Good afternoon, Guppies!
I understand that with the recent weather there mat be some concerns about starting swim lessons today. As of now the forecast radar is looking rather rainy up until 12:45. I will give a final say around 1:30 pm on whether we will be holding classes through the afternoon. Each parent will be notified through text.
In the meantime, parents are welcome to schedule their guppies' next swim lesson, even if it's your first! Lessons will resume May 17th.

Splash in, Guppies! We’re so excited to see you this summer.
Please read below for important season details, and a few changes to our processes.

Our official start date for this season is May 3, 2024. Classes with Coach Grace will be held on Fridays from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Lessons are booked on a first come first serve basis through the link above. Booking opens for class reservations April 12, 2024.
Our pricing is $40 for 30 minute private lessons.
Our “Pool Rules” remain the same as last season, and can be found as a pinned post on our page. Please review these before your child’s first lesson.

Previously, Grace’s Guppies held a Baby Tails lesson for a shorter time than standard. Baby Tails is still a class we offer for ages 1-4 years old, but children will have to participate in a full 30 minute lesson. Baby Tails will be run similar to Round Tails lessons, with less repetition and more play time. This means that baby’s will be required to occasionally be submerged underwater. We understand that this can be a scary moment for parents, so please be aware.
We also held Big Tails and Adult classes that went beyond water safety and taught the fundamentals for competitive swimming. These will no longer be available due to low demand.

Hey, Guppies!
As our season of splashing comes to a close, we would like to thank our Guppies and parents for the love and support you've given Grace's Guppies.
We'd also like to celebrate a few exciting achievements with you. This summer we've had the privilege to teach over 40 swimmers. In that time we've had over 25 move ups between swim levels! That means that Guppies are learning swim and water safety effectively, and we are very proud of that impact.
We are grateful for each and every one of our Guppies, and we'll miss you in the colder months. But, don't fret. We'll see you next summer!
Remember while we're away, Never Swim Alone!
