🌟 Client Spotlight: Mone 🌟

Meet Mone — a wife, mother of two, and a true example of what’s possible when you stay consistent and committed to the process.

Over the past couple of months, I’ve had the privilege of coaching Mone through two back-to-back challenges, and her progress has been nothing short of inspiring.

During her first challenge, Mone faced some real obstacles. Like many people starting out, she was adjusting to a new routine, learning how to stay consistent, and figuring out how to prioritize her health while juggling daily life. But what stood out most was her persistence — she never gave up.

Now in her second challenge, Mone’s momentum is undeniable. She’s locked in, building healthy habits, and showing a level of consistency that’s creating real, lasting change — not just physically, but in her energy, mindset, and lifestyle. Watching her make better food choices, take control of her health, and positively influence her family has been incredible to witness.

And that’s the real win: when your growth starts to impact the people around you.

Here’s what Mone had to say about her journey so far:

“The 6-week challenge has had much impact with not only my life but my family’s as well. As I am changing my diet and exercise routines, I find my family is also adapting these habits. My kids are joining me on my walks now and asking what new recipes I am making for the week! I have thoroughly enjoyed this challenge and trust me it has been a challenge! I have experienced pushing myself harder each day and looking forward to the weekly check-ins to track my progress. When I first started the challenge, my main motivation was to get my body ready for the summer. However, after going through the challenge, my main motivation now is my overall health and maintaining a healthy diet!”

Leg Day with Alex 🏋️‍♂️🔥

It’s funny—sometimes I’ll program a workout, and midway through, I realize just how brutal it actually is. Today was one of those days. But no turning back—we pushed through, got a solid pump, and left with legs feeling like jello.

Here’s what we hit today:
- Deadlift @ 77.5% of 1RM – 3x8
- Reverse Lunges – 3x10 each leg
- Russian KB Swings – 3x10
- Front Rack Squat @ 50% of 1RM – 3x10
- Squat Hold w/ Banded Abductions – 3x10
- Standing Calf Raises – 3x10

Legs are smoked. Recovery mode activated. 🏆

6 Weeks. 9.8 lbs Down. 28.4 lbs Lost Over 2 Years. No Strength Sacrificed.

Two years ago, when my daughter was born, I weighed 182 lbs. Fast forward to today—with a newborn, a full-time job, running Felan’s Fitness, coaching on the side, and balancing family life—I’m down to 153.6 lbs while still maintaining my strength.

In just the last 6 weeks, I went from 163.4 lbs to 153.6 lbs, dropping 9.8 lbs while staying consistent and making time, no matter how busy life got.

I’m not sharing this to brag—I’m sharing it because I know how easy it is to believe you don’t have time to take care of yourself. But the reality is, we make time for things that don’t serve us—mindless scrolling, TV, distractions. If you can spare 30 minutes for those, you can spare 30 minutes to move your body. It doesn’t have to be complicated or extreme—it just has to be consistent.

Here’s what worked for me (and my clients):

✅ Be Consistent – Progress isn’t about motivation, it’s about discipline. Show up even when you don’t feel like it.
✅ Prioritize Nutrition – Track your calories and macros. You don’t have to be perfect, but you do need to be mindful.
✅ Eat Enough Protein – Helps maintain muscle, keeps you full longer, and supports recovery.
✅ Move More Throughout the Day (NEAT) – Small habits like walking more, standing up often, and staying active add up.
✅ Strength Train – Cardio alone won’t get you the results you want. Build muscle to burn fat more efficiently.

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to start, this is it. Your health is an investment, not an expense. If I can make it happen with everything I have on my plate, so can you.
