Ever wonder how whitetail survive harsh winters while we run around wrapping pipes and filling gas cans?

They spend months preparing for winter. They eat and eat and store fat around their body to reserve energy and provide insulation. The craziest thing to me is each "strand" of hair on a deer is hollow, so air is trapped inside, which helps them retain the heat! The more you know!

This is the green hog kill light I built. It’s working like a champ! It recharges with solar and turns on automatically at night and off in the morning. I designed it to be a maintenance free kill light that should last a long time!

Sounds more like a disappointment to me. We trap more than that in one weekend!

Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack says the feral hog trapping program he green-lighted in January has had what he describes as "great success" with a total of 27 feral hogs captured by trappers.
