A Final Farewell from the Texas Tigers
The Texas Tigers closed out their journey today, finishing the tournament 4-3. While it wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for, these girls gave it all they had, playing with heart, grit, and determination every step of the way. This tournament was bittersweet, marking the end of a remarkable chapter.
As the team now moves on to 14U, each player begins a new path on her own in her softball journey. But this group was never just a team, it was a family and an amazing place for these girls to learn and grow in the sport that they love. They have supported each other through victories and setbacks, both on and off the field. They cheered loudest for one another, picked each other up in tough moments, and celebrated every win, big or small, together.
And it wasn’t just the players who bonded. The parents became more than supporters on the sidelines, they became friends, creating lasting connections that make saying goodbye, that much harder. But no matter where each girl’s path leads, we know these families will continue cheering for one another, in softball and in life.
The friendships and bonds built here may evolve over time, but the memories and love shared will never fade.
A heartfelt thank you to the coaches, whose tireless dedication made all of this possible. You gave up time with your own families, missed important moments and poured so much into shaping these young athletes, and for that, we are endlessly grateful.
The Texas Tigers may be closing an amazing chapter, but the story doesn't end here. The friendships the life lessons and the memories made will carry on far beyond the softball field. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for each and every Tiger.
Once a Tiger, always a Tiger. 💜💚
