Mark your calendars for Friday, June 26, 2026 and come out for a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at 426 Central Avenue in Connersville from 5–7 p.m.

Dinner includes spaghetti & meatballs, salad, garlic bread, dessert, and a beverage — all by free-will donation. Carryout will be available, and credit cards are accepted. *while food lasts*

Bring your family, grab a friend, or swing by for carryout on the way home. It’s a great chance to enjoy a good meal, support a local fundraiser, and spend a little time with neighbors.

On Monday June 22nd, 2026, officers from second shift Patrol Division served a warrant in the 100 blk of E 2nd St, in Connersville. Officers went there to apprehend Dana Erlewein, 48, of Connersville on a L-4 Felony, Failure to Appear warrant through Fayette Circuit Court. Due to Erlewein hiding, officers conducted a search of the home and located another male subject, who was also attempting to hide himself from police. That male was identified as Roy Marsh, 60, of Knightstown. A warrant check provided that Marsh was wanted through Henry County on a L-1 Felony, Child Molestation charge, as well as, several related L-5 Felony charges.
At that time, both Erlewein and Marsh were taken into custody and transported to the Fayette County Jail where they are being held with no bond and Marsh awaits transport to Henry County.
**All subjects arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law.

Here is some video from the third game of the night in Union County. This one between Franklin County and Union County. Franklin County would win, the margin was the biggest of the night; but somewhere around 8 to 12 points.

Local business owner Michelle Daugherty made this dress for American Idol Winner, Hannah Harper!

Hannah Harper in that handmade dress is the kind of moment that stops you mid-scroll.

The dress was designed and stitched by hand by Michelle of 'Seams Like Michelle,' who said: "I could cry at how beautiful Hannah looks in this dress I made for her." Every stitch was made with love, and Hannah wore it like it was always meant to be hers.

There is something about a handmade dress on a woman who built her career the handmade way, too. No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just raw talent, hard work, and a faith in God that she has never been afraid to share with the world.

Hannah Harper did not blow up overnight. She earned every stage she has ever stood on and every spotlight that has ever found her. Seeing her in a one-of-a-kind dress that was crafted just for her feels right because everything about her journey has been one of a kind.
