From Coach Gabe Rojas:
I’ve been thinking about this for a long time now. Not every athlete has access to resources or information, and both are critical in development. I want to create a space where athletes of all ages can come in and feel empowered where they can learn how to train safely, build confidence, and actually understand the WHY behind what they’re doing.
Most athletes don’t need more workouts. They need focused coaching, better habits, and a stronger understanding of why/ what they are training.
For those who don’t know me I’ll keep it brief. I played JUCO , 4 year, and Indy ball, during my time in school I earned a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. Which is where my passion truly is, helping others find confidence through better health! Currently, I coach at San Joaquin Delta College, where I am the Recruiting Coordinator and assistant pitching coach. I’m bringing what I’ve learned from playing and coaching back into our community.
Since I was once in your shoes, here at Sportform we will be starting small group training, every Sunday, COMPLETELY FREE
Purpose of Small Group Training:
• Learning how to lift safely
• Build real strength through understanding (not ego lifting)
• More personalized coaching per rep
• Group training environments create a sense of currency and competition
We will offer two groups, both done by noon:
Youth 9am-10am
Advanced 10am-11am
🔥 Our Youth Group or “Foundations” will focus on developing stability, balance, and coordination, while having fun and learning the universal fundamental movements across athletes. This group is meant for beginners, no shame let’s get better!
⚡️ Our Advanced Group aka “Grinders” will be open to HS, College, or Professionals who are like-minded, looking for a space to train and get better together. This groups focus will be on improving Speed & Performance. Not only building on their strength foundations and movement principles but adding a speed/agility emphasis.
