Racing can give you some pretty high highs and some pretty low lows — sometimes all in the same week!
Tuesday at Ransomville, we had a fast race car but was hit from behind and turned, taking away the opportunity to make the A-Main.
Friday at Ohsweken, we started 5th in the heat and drove our way to 3rd before getting clipped again and hitting the wall, ending the night early.
What I will remember most, though, is what happened afterward.
So many teams came over and immediately started helping. People were grabbing tools, looking at the damage and doing everything they could to help us get the #24 back on track. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get it done in time — but we won’t forget the people who tried.
Once we got the car home, we realized the damage was worse than we originally thought, which meant missing Merrittville Saturday night as well.
It wasn’t the week we wanted.
But we’re not done. 🌀🏁
Back to the shop. Back to work.
