Since we have been back on social media and reaching out to different hunting and fishing pages. People asking “who are we” or “never heard of Dream Hunts”…..
Well, let me tell you who we….
Since it’s inception in 2007, Dream Hunts has offered New Hampshire children and young adults 21 years of age and under that had or have a life threating illness or injury the opportunity to participate in a fully guided hunting or fishing experience. Often once in a lifetime dream. The program has proudly maintain a 100% success rate in delivering safe, meaningful, and memorable experiences that create lasting memories for participants in their families.
Every Dream Hunt is provided at no cost to the participant or their family. All expenses are fully covered, including, but not limited to;
- New Hampshire hunting and fishing licenses when required
- Fully guided hunting or fishing trips with licensed New Hampshire professional guide
- Lodging in meals for the participant in their family
- All required clothing and footwear
- Specialized or adaptive equipment as needed, such as a tracked wheelchair, shooting rails or medical equipment
- Transportation to and from the field or launch, including fuel reimbursement when applicable,
- Fi****ms, optics and ammunition (pending FFL clearance)and optics
- Processing and butchering by a local facility
- Taxidermy of the harvest animal or fish.
Since the program began, every member of the New Hampshire wildlife, Federation Dream Hunts team has volunteered their time in experience, ensuring that 100% of donated funds, directly support the program expenses and participants needs
To date, all funding for Dream Hunts have come solely from the generosity of donations of individuals and organizations throughout New England and beyond your tax deductible. Contributions play a critical role in allow allowing us to continue offering these meaningful experiences to deserving families for years to come.
