✨ A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR DANCE FAMILIES! ✨
As we wrap up this competition weekend, I want to take a moment to thank the parents who made this entire journey possible. Sometimes, we get so caught up in the practices, the preparation, the competition, and the results that we forget just how much goes on behind the scenes. And I hope you all know that none of it goes unnoticed. 🥹❤️
To our dance dads, thank you for following along with us, setting up and taking down tents, carrying luggage, hauling equipment, and helping with all the things that often go unseen. Thank you for being there when we needed an extra set of hands, for showing up even when it was inconvenient, and for helping take some of the weight off our shoulders. Your support may not always be in the spotlight, but it makes such a difference, and we are genuinely grateful for you.
To our dance moms, thank you for the early morning wake-up calls, the restless nights, the little sleep, the constant checking, the rushing around, and making sure our girls had everything they needed. Thank you for waking up early even when you were exhausted, for putting your daughters first, and for pouring so much of yourselves into making this experience special for them. I know being a dance mom takes so much more than just showing up to watch a performance. It takes patience, sacrifice, time, energy, and a whole lot of love. And I hope you know how much I appreciate every bit of it. 🫶🏻
As a coach, I spend so much time thinking about our dancers — their growth, their confidence, their performances, and the memories they are making. But behind every dancer is a family making sacrifices to give them these opportunities. Families who rearrange schedules, lose sleep, spend hours on the road, carry the extra bags, help with the setup, and give so much of their time and energy without asking for anything in return.
I wish I could put into words how grateful I am for each and every one of you. Thank you for trusting me with your daughters, for supporting this team, and for being part of something that has grown into so much more than just dance. You aren't simply parents who bring your kids to practice. You are part of our CDA family, and this journey wouldn't be the same without you.
We may not have come home with the placement we hoped for, but we came home with memories, stronger bonds, lessons learned, and an experience our girls will carry with them for years to come. And that is something worth being thankful for.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing beside our girls and standing beside me through it all. Thank you for the sacrifices people don't always see and for the love you continue to give this team.
It truly takes a village to raise these girls, and I feel so blessed that this is ours. 🥹
With so much love and appreciation, thank you for being part of our journey. We couldn't do this without you. 🙌
