The concord yellow jackets took the field tonight against Pittsfield in a DH. The yellow jackets won both contests 7-3 and 8-6.

Jordyan Metcalf had a great putting on the mound for the first game and relieved Audrey rube hart in the second game finishing with 8 strikeouts. Audrey is coming along well as a freshman having 2 strike outs!

Cece and Haley both had 3 hits, Gabby, Jordyan, Mya, and Evelyn all had 2 hits, and the rest of the girls are having Quality at bats. Theresa yellow jackets are 5-5 on the reason and looking forward to some more league play on Tuesday!

The Lady Jacket Softball team swept Pittsford today. Jordyan Metcalf picked up the pitching win in both games. Haley Stimer and Cieara Barrett each had 3 hits in the doubleheader. Concord Softball will host North Adams on Monday.

The girls softball team took a hard loss today against the colon magi, the final score of the first game was 0-7. The lady jackets were able to pick it up a notch though in the second game and made it through the 3rd inning leading in the game with a score of 9-5 unfortunately the game had to be cut short due to the poor weather conditions and were not able to complete the game. The lady jackets next game will be on Friday where they will be playing at hillsdale for a double header.

YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL: For the first time EVER, Concord will be playing in a flag football league with games against local schools. This is open to boys and girls in grades 3-6th. Practices will begin in September, and games are played on Saturdays. Please sign up using the QR code. We are also looking for volunteer coaches.

The day didn’t go as we wanted losing to Reading in both games in our double header.

We had to play people in new positions and out of their normal spots, due to a few injuries.

We will continue to improve and work hard everyday!

The lady yellowjackets took the field last night against the Morenci bulldogs.

We were missing a few of our normally starters but the ladies never gave up. Taking the field with 9 and no subs we had people playing in news roles.

While they didn’t win either game yesterday the girls played well in game two. Taylor held the bulldogs to no hits, they were able to score 4. The jackets out hit the bulldogs in game 2 but were unable to get anyone across the plate.

They never gave up! Back at it next week jackets!

While the day started out differently than we wanted, the Lady Jackets never gave up.

In the first game, we lost 0-13. Jordyan did a good job on the mound but the girls had a difficult time making some plays due to the high winds making the ball harder to read.

In the second game, the girls came out on offense strong. They had 19 hits, scoring 18 runs. Taylor did great at the mound!

The girls never gave up! I am so proud of them for that. Coming out ready to play and work hard!!

The varsity softball team lost both games to Stockbridge last night. The team will play at Morenci on Friday for a doubleheader.

We took both games tonight!
19-2 in the first game with Evelyn on the mound! Theresa jackets played good defense but had a great outing at the plate

Game 2 we won 26-11 Reagan was in the mound for the first 2 inning and pitched well. We again were great at the plate. Being patient and hitting good pitches for good distant!

The girls played well over all! So proud of these lady jackets!!

The Lady Jacket Softball team scored 45 runs in a doubleheader sweep of Maple Valley today.

The yellow jackets started off the night with Jordyan on the mound throwing a great first 5 innings being relieved by Reagan throwing the last two innings. Both pitched great games tonight allowing only 1 run to score.
The girls batted well with everyone in the lineup getting on base! Hannah had 2 hits, Taylor, Evelyn, Sabrina, and Haley all had 1 hit each. Beating the Hillsdale Hornets 8-1

The second game Taylor took the mound and had a good start. The inning was ended with a yellow Jacket triple play being lead by Jordyan! At the plate the yellowjackets started off well but hit a rough patch when Taylor was hit by a pitch in the ankle forcing her out for the rest of the day. The girls continued to fight the entire time but feel a little short 7-14.
