P2 for Roberts Vītols in Race 2 at RallyX in Tierp. It was all going according to plan with P1 through the day and then leading the final, but with a broken rear damper he managed a great drive to keep second over the line.

Great work by the team, lots of points scored and we keep pushing!

Äntligen fick Jamie kliva upp på pallen igen. 🏁🏁
Jamie var taggad och hade riktigt bra speed på träning samt tidskörningen. 🚀🌧
Sen tappade vi fart i kvalheaten när regnet tilltog, materialet strulade och Jamie fick inte till körningen. Men det räckte ändå till P4 gridden till finalen. Nu finns bättre fart igen och Jamie kör in på en fin andraplats som blir en seger efter bestraffning. YES!✌️🏁

Kiwi star Shane van Gisbergen got a first taste of rallycross in a test at Charlotte Motor Speedway last week, before he set off for the seventh round of the NASCAR Cup series at Martinsville.

Joined by fellow Cup racer Austin Cindric, SVG sampled a range of rallycross machinery at the RallyX Americas test day.

“I drove the FC1 then the FC2,” he said. “This thing (the FC1) was impressive, the speed that it had and how it accelerated - I’d never driven an electric car before and it was just epic. Really fun how you can drive them, I’d love to come back and race a few of my mates too. Hopefully do some more soon”

Posting later on his social media, SVG added: “Love to do a rallycross race some day.”
