So-called "normal" lab ranges are absurd. If you're close to the end of the spectrum, or even if you're concerned because things still don't feel right, you can and should push back.

Ask more questions. Get more tests. Look for a second opinion.

Just because the range is called normal doesn't mean it's optimal for you.

Our first ever week night mobility class!

We're working on thoracic spine, quads, and hip flexors again. Great for anybody, but especially if you do a lot of sitting.

Please bring your own foam roller! We have a limited amount and will probably not have enough to go around.

Cortisol. The stress hormone. When it's doing its job, it's very helpful. When it's not doing its job, that can be really frustrating.

In this clip, Doctor Liz talks about the point of Cortisol and how it's supposed to function in our bodies, as well as some of the negative impacts that it will have on our bodies (belly fat, anybody?).

Join Coach Hannah this Saturday at 8:30am for a mobility class in the gym, focused on thoracic spine, hip flexors, and quads!

Do you sit for work? Have a long commute? Spend a lot of time hunched over your phone or a book? Do you often feel tight in the back of your legs and lower back?

This class is for you!

We will spend time foam rolling to relax the muscles, do some static stretching, and work through an active range of motion with and without weight. Not only do we want to be flexible, but we want to have ownership over our range of motion. This class will give you the tools you need to do both!

Jeff Isbell has worked so hard over the last couple of years to get to where he is. His goal has always been weight loss, and boy has he gotten that! He's down 145lbs, has gained so much confidence, and now he actually enjoys going to the gym! Jeff has been one of our most consistent members. One of our favorite things about Jeff is that he makes sure to get his three workouts in a week, shifting days and times frequently to adjust for fluctuating life patterns. He's competed in our in-house powerlifting event, and has been training for the last year or so in Olympic lifting as well, which has motivated Jeff to increase his mobility, agility, power, and strength. He can't be stopped!

We are so insanely proud of Jeff for what he's been able to accomplish. Keep up the great work!
