Established in 2017. Originally founded as a Tat Wong Kung Fu Academy in Concord by Grandmaster Tat-Mau Wong in 1995, this academy, under new ownership, seeks to teach quality Kung Fu and Kickboxing with modern teaching methods while honoring the traditions of martial arts. Established in 2017, Sifu Mike Lee and staff continue their dedication to creating a safe, fun, and positive environment to learn confidence, concentration, discipline, and respect whether your're 3 or 83. Mike L. - Business Owner
Sifu Lee began studying under Grandmaster Tat-Mau Wong in 1995. While continuing to train and teach, he studied Social Welfare & Education at UC Berkeley. After graduation, he was recruited by Teach For America for his strong leadership skills and taught mathematics to kids growing up in poverty in Newark, New Jersey. Sifu Lee received his title of 'Sifu' from Grandmaster Tat-Mau Wong in 2013 and is an internationally ranked 6th degree black belt. As a nationally recognized Sanshou/Sanda kickboxer, he has proudly represented the USA numerous times as a member of the US National Sanshou Team. He has participated in many full contact fighting competitions like the Pan American Championships in Argentina and the the World Sanshou Championships in Canada, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Whether in his own personal training or for teaching students, Sifu Lee believes "Alone we are strong... Together we are STRONGER."
