Sunshine Nationals, 10/10 recommend! ๐คฉ
Over the winter break, Morghan had lots of updates completed so what better way to test the new car than Volusia for Sunshine Nationals. ๐
New season, new carโฆ. Same craziness. ๐ซ
Night one, we were quickly reminded: some people do believe they can win the race on the first lap and will chop you off. Ended the night with ZERO laps completed and a messed up front to fix. ๐
Night two, we were reminded: slick tracks are NOT our favorite. Started and ended in 9th place. ๐
Night three, we were reminded: never underestimate Morghan Johnson on so many levels! ๐
She was determined to race her way into the feature. Started 6th in the last chance race and finished 4th which put her starting 28th in the feature. Halfway through the feature she was up to 18th and many more reminders came her way. Wrecks happen, often, and sometimes defense is needed more than offense. Line ups can get confusing when multiple cars have the same number, so you get to decide how you want to handle that. Anddddd Morghan made the decision to focus on learning the car, learning the track, and enjoy racing. A 27th place finish and lots of excitement for the 2026 season. ๐๐ผ๐ค๐ผ๐
