Thank you Lord for another successful season. We may not have gotten the numbers from previous seasons but we still got to enjoy the great outdoors chasing waterfowl. And for that I am truly thankful.
The 25 duck season was one of the toughest seasons I have ever witnessed in all my years of chasing ducks. The mild conditions in the midwest really hurt the migration and the ducks were few and far between in our area. That didn’t stop us from trying though. We managed to have some great hunts and even in the slow hunts made the most of it. Ultimately we came away with lots of memories and made it through another season unscathed. And for that I want to thank the Lord above for protecting us and keeping us safe while we hunted, traveled and shared the outdoors with our customers and friends. I want to thank all my customers who came out this season. Hopefully you appreciated my honesty on the bird numbers and appreciated the fact that we tried our best to put you in the best possible spot to be successful. Big numbers are great but its the fellowship and comradery that I enjoy most when im in the blind. I also want to thank Nick and Drake for pushing me through this tough season and for all the help you provided on our hunts along the way. Watching both of you guys grow up in the blind has been very special for me and I will always look forward to another chance to get after the ducks with you. I owe big thanks to John, Lance, Bentlie and many others for keeping my head up during this tough season. Yall dont know how much you mean to me for being a sounding board I could call on daily when my spirits were down. Appreciate you very much. So thats a wrap on this hunting season. We are already looking forward to next season and know it will be here before we know it.
