With nearly 30 years of coaching experience, Mark Lugris is dedicated to developing young players—building confidence, character, and a true love for the game from the very start.
As the founder of Cantera Futbol USA and Director of Coaching at Northport Cow Harbor, he’s helped shape countless players on and off the field through a player-first approach.
Before coaching, Mark had an impressive career—playing at Fordham University, drafted by the NY Cosmos, competing professionally for over a decade, and representing Puerto Rico internationally 🌎
His philosophy says it all: build the person first, then the player.
