Dear Fitness 110 Members:

We will be opening on Monday, June 8, 2020, at 12PM!

In light of the current conditions created by COVID across the nation, our number one priority is to provide a workout facility that protects and promotes the health and safety of all our members. With that in mind, we will follow and ask all of our members to follow the Minimum Standard Health Protocols prescribed by the Governor Abbott, a full reading of which can be found here.

HEALTH PROTOCOLS

Until further notice from the Governor Abbott, we are recommending that all members abide by the following guidelines:

1. Maintain 6 feet of separation from other individuals when possible
2. Wear a face covering or mask and gloves that fully cover from the wrist to the fingers
3. Wash hands upon arrival and periodically during a workout
4. Self-screen before entering and DO NOT ENTER if you are experiencing cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, diarrhea, feeling feverish or running a temperature in excess of 100.0° Fahrenheit, or have come in contact with a person confirmed to have COVID-19.
5. Bringing personal workout equipment is not permitted
6. Individuals aged 65 or older are at a higher risk of COVID-19. To the extent possible, avoid contact within 6 feet with individuals aged 65 and older. Individuals aged 65 and older should stay at home as much as possible.
7. As before, you are required to utilize the disinfectant wipes (located in dispensers throughout the gym) to thoroughly wipe down each piece of equipment before and after use, including exercise machines and dead weights.

MEMBERSHIPS AND BILLING

On March 19, 2020, we froze all memberships and placed a hold on all automatic billing, with the intent to reinstate all members’ accounts upon reopening exactly as they were before the freeze. Given the length of time since we were required to temporarily close and the potential change in our members’ financial health due to loss of employment or cutbacks, we feel it is in our members best interests if we reopen under the following terms:

1. All members are released from their prior contract financial obligations. Members are NOT released from the “Waiver, Release, and Assumption of Liability” section of their membership agreement.

2. In an effort to keep Fitness 110 accessible to all members, plus potential new members, we are implementing a monthly flat rate of $29.99 plus tax per person through December 31, 2020, with the following conditions:

a. an additional $2.00 monthly fee will be assessed for members paying with a credit card;

b. the flat rate does require signing up for automatic billing; and

c. CANCELLATION – members are required to provide cancellation notices one month in advance of their BILLING DATE. For example, if you are billed on July 5th, you would need to give notice by June 5th to cancel your membership; if you give notice on June 6th, you will be billed on July 5th, and your membership will terminate on August 4th.

3. All members that paid their membership dues prior to March 19, 2020, will be given a prorated credit. For example, if you paid $35 on March 5th, that would have covered your membership from March 5th through April 4th (30 days), but you were only able to access the gym until March 19, 2020, so you would be entitled to a credit of $1.17 per day for each day you had prepaid for but were unable to use, this example being 17 days equaling a $19.89 credit.

4. Any members with an outstanding balance before March 19, 2020, must pay their outstanding balance, which will also be prorated, before their membership will be reinstated.

5. All members will return to automatic draft using the bank account or credit card details we previously had on file, following the expiration of any credits.

6. IMPORTANT If you wish to cancel your membership, you may do so free of charge and without the 30 day notice requirement until Friday, June 12, 2020.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via the email address or phone number below.

To all Fitness110 members:

Fitness 110 will NOT be re-opening on Monday, May 18th. Per Governor Abbott, gyms are not allowed to exceed 25% maximum occupancy, and to insure compliance, that would require monitoring by gym staff, which we do not have. We WILL be re-opening, just not today. After the Governor announces the details of Phase 2 today, we expect to have a more definitive time frame for re-opening. Please watch for emails from us and social media posts for more information. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
