We had a fun time at today’s event! Lots of wheel spins for the kids. Safe to say they enjoyed THAT just about as much as the things they won. Prizes, stickers and even some public swim passes and popsicles on their next summer pool visit!

Bring the kids out to cool off and enjoy some fun in the sun! 🌈💧

Friendly Reminders to Keep the Splash Pad Safe & Enjoyable for Everyone:
• No food or drinks allowed on the splash pad
• No pets permitted
• No bikes, skateboards, or skates on the pad
• No bathing or use of soap/shampoo
• Please help keep the area clean and free of debris

🌳 Arbor Day 2026: A Root-ed Success! 🌳
We had a wonderful Friday afternoon celebrating Arbor Day at the park! We had a blast with our 2nd and 3rd-grade friends from the James M. Burchfield Primary School after-school program.

From learning fun facts from a scavenger hunt, to creating beautiful leaf rubbings, leaf-hand tracing and sidewalk chalk masterpieces, our students learned all about the importance of our local canopy while having some serious fun.

A huge thank you to:

📚 Colusa County Free Library for the special book reading that kicked off our event.

⭐ Egling Middle School Leadership Group and our Colusa High School student volunteers for their energy and mentorship in guiding the activity stations.

🤸‍♀️ Get ready to tumble, Colusa tots! 🤸‍♀️

We are thrilled to announce our newest program: Colusa Tot Tumbling! 👶 This fun-filled activity is designed for your little ones to build crucial balance and coordination skills.

Here are the key details:
🤸‍♀️ What: Colusa Tot Tumbling
👶 Who: Children aged 18 months - 3 years old
🗓️ When: Fridays, May 8th - June 12th
📍 Where: Colusa City Hall Auditorium
⏰ Time: Open Gym (11:00-11:15 AM) & Class Session (11:15-12:00 PM)
💰 Cost: $60 per child

Important Information:
- Child must be able to walk unassisted.
- A parent or guardian must be present for each child throughout the entire course of the class.

🏀 Senior Project Alert!! 🏀

We are excited to share a great opportunity for local 3rd–6th grade ballers! One of our very own youth basketball referees, Kaleb Castanon, is hosting a Basketball Camp for his Senior Project.

This is a fantastic way for the kids to get some extra time on the court while supporting a local student’s hard work.

Who: Boys & Girls, Grades 3rd–6th

When: April 19th | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Where: Colusa High School Gymnasium
