Our marketing manager might be out West chasing elk right now… but he’s still keeping an eye on things back home. 😂

A cellular trail camera isn’t just about seeing what bucks are showing up. Put one on a property entrance, gate or access road and you can keep tabs on activity even when you’re halfway across the country.

Hunt the West. Keep an eye on home. 📲🦌

And apparently there’s still no escaping work while you’re elk hunting. 😂

This is a good week to have your cameras out. 👀🦌

Bucks are starting to shed their velvet, and the pictures we’ve been waiting all summer for are about to start showing up.

Cameras are going into those spots where mature bucks feel comfortable

Some of them started losing their velvet already this one is still holding on. Have you been seeing any hard antlers this week ???

Do mature bucks notice the horizontal lines from your trail camera setup? 🦌📸

Think about the next time you’re scouting whitetail deer in the woods.

Tree trunks. Saplings. Grass. Brush. Vines.

Most of the lines and patterns surrounding a mature buck are natural and irregular. Then we walk into a buck’s bedding area, hang a trail camera on a tree and leave a perfectly straight strap wrapped around the trunk.

Does an old whitetail buck recognize that something changed?

Maybe.

Anyone who has spent enough time bowhunting mature whitetails knows how incredibly aware an old buck can be of his surroundings. We may never know exactly what he notices—but why leave something obviously unnatural if we can break it up?

That’s the idea behind Cam Conceal trail camera concealment.

It helps break up the straight strap, hard edges and recognizable outline of your trail camera so the entire setup blends more naturally into the tree and surrounding cover.

Look closely at these photos.

Standard trail camera setup vs. Cam Conceal.

If YOU can immediately notice the difference…

Do you think a 5½-year-old buck that’s lived in those woods his entire life can too? 👀

I’d love to hear from the serious whitetail guys on this one. Do mature bucks notice trail cameras—or do we give them too much credit?

Your trail camera already comes in camo. So why can you still spot it from 50 yards away?

Because the problem isn’t always the color — it’s the shape.

Straight edges, a square body and a strap wrapped around a tree can stick out in the woods. Cam Conceal is designed to break up that recognizable outline and help the entire setup disappear into what’s already around it.

The best trail camera is the one you don’t notice. 👀

This is exactly why we like keeping trail cameras hidden.

The first photos are what every hunter hopes to see.

The second ones are a good reminder that trail cameras can be useful for a lot more than just deer.

A well-hidden camera can help you keep an eye on property entrances, access roads, equipment, and areas where you may want to know who’s coming and going — without making the camera obvious.

That makes Cam Conceal useful for scouting, but it can also be a great setup for catching trespassers or unwanted activity on your property.

The less attention the camera gets, the better it can do its job.

Wildlife or unwanted visitors… sometimes you want the camera to see them before they see the camera. 👀

The work starts long before opening morning. 🦌

Cameras are going up, spots are getting dialed in, and another deer season is getting closer by the day.

Our good friends Chris and Tom from Film The Hunt spent some time getting their cameras hung and ready for the season—and sent us a few photos from the process.

And if you look closely at some of these pictures… you’ll see exactly why we like keeping a trail camera from looking like a trail camera. 👀🍂

Now comes the fun part: waiting to see what starts showing up.

Big thank you to Chris and Tom with Film The Hunt for sending these photos over and allowing us to share them!

Who else has cameras out already? And more importantly… are you getting anything good yet? 👇
