Hey there everyone. We, The Redneck Engineers, have always wanted to drive on as many tracks here in Ohio as possible. but as you know if you intend to race and compete for points anywhere you must stay there all year. Well now that our home track is gone, Columbus Motor Speedway, it is time to look to the future.

We intend to keep almost all of the rules that we have been driving and car building with only a few agreed upon differences. This is to help everyone with the cost of having to build or rearrange a car to meet another tracks rules. One rule that we will be changing, and I know several of you will enjoy this, Side skirts will be allowed to be squared off equal to the bottom of the car. And as access to Hoosier tires will most likely be gone we will be choosing a street tire.

The intention is to run both Asphalt and Dirt tracks thru out the season. We intend to be offering 3 Championships: Asphalt, Dirt, and Over all.

For now we really don't want to change too many rules to make the startup of this easier. Future plans do include engine building limits, a change to manual transmission (for 1/2 mile tracks). We will be glad to entertain suggestions for rule changes and or additions and subtractions.
