Get ready to step, slide, and dance your way to good health! 💃🕺

As part of our Healthy Lives/Healthy Foods initiative, Lowndes County Recreation is excited to launch FREE Senior Line Dance Classes across our community centers!

We’re kicking off our first 4-week session in Artesia, led by instructor Bonnie Partridge. Designed for all skill levels, these classes are a fun, high-energy way to get moving, build confidence, and connect with friends.

Artesia Session Details:
📍 Location: Artesia Community Center (46 South Front Street, Artesia, MS 39736)

🗓️ Dates: Tuesdays — Sept. 1, 8, 22 & 29

👑 RECAP: MIDAS THE III 🥏

Lowndes County Recreation was absolutely thrilled to partner with Golden Triangle Ultimate to host MIDAS the III at the Roger Short Soccer Complex!

It was an incredible weekend welcoming 9 visiting teams from 8 cities and 5 states to compete right here in Columbus. Huge congratulations to Huntsville Apollo on taking home the championship crown! 🏆✨

A massive thank you to Visit Columbus for sponsoring the event and helping us showcase our community, as well as Munson and Brothers for supporting a fantastic tournament weekend.
